We arrived at Isle Colon, Bocas del Toro by a water taxi from the mainland. Made it more exciting knowing we were staying on a tiny island for the wkend:) While it was raining as we checked in, we were really happy with the hotel we booked. Sarah later found out they had a huge snake for a pet, but other than that it was very comfortable. Sarah was craving Indian food so we had a little feast for dinner. Watching Sarah eat her favourite dishes is something else, don't distract her with sights and small talk-she isn't interested! To not bore u I will just sum up our time in Bocas. Remote beaches, sun, red dart frogs, water taxi's, a pub with a trampoline into the ocean as well as swings over the water, beach with bright orange starfish everywhere, fresh lobster, souvenirs, snorkelling and Sarah's bday:) Probs didn't need to stay the extra day but we had a great time, and nice to not have to pack our bags and travel each day. Off to Costa Rica!
