Hot springs were awesome. Because the town is at the base of a Volcano there are heaps of different hot spring resorts. We went to Los Lagos which had a few different temperature pools, water slides and a swim up bar. We stayed there all arvo until it got dark and we were all wrinkly:) Canopy zip lining was our next adventure. A tractor pulling a bus took us to the top of a mountain and 11 flying fox cables brought us down. One was 960m long!! We were about 150...

After rafting we stayed in the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose for the night. Awesome hostel, rooftop bar and really social. But we didn't like San Jose much, too busy and a bit unsafe so we took the local bus to La Fortuna in the morning. Four and a half hour bus ride through some amazing country side. Its a really cool town at the base of a 'active' volcano:) We are about to head to the hot springs for the afternoon/night!

We are now in Costa Rica and although it is just next door to Panama we can already notice the difference. The people seem a bit more 'with it' and they look more Latino. The first place we went was Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean coast. It's a really laid back town where we rented bikes and road up to a surf beach for a swim.
