Sam's Travels in New Zealand
On saturday we went to the aquarium and it was so cool! They had loads of penguins and they were so funny, you go round the enclosure in a little train and its huge! When we got back we all watched a film in the TV room, everyones r.nice and theres big communal kitchens in the accomodation so you meet loads of people!
I had a lazy day on sunday gettin ready for lectures and have now nearly finished my first week! Theres loads more reading than we had last year but the courses are r.interesting! On tuesday Ispace (the international office) arranged a fish and chip dinner for us all which was so good! Mmmmmm! Then on Wednesday we had a wine tasting night which was so much fun and we actually learned something too! Then tonight we had an ethnic food festival where everyone from the international (study abroad) department made something from their home country! It was so good! I made toad in the hole! There was so much different food! I found an amazing cafe on campus too, its r.nice and they do such nice drinks so i spend most of my breaks in there doing my reading and drinking coffee (I'm on hot honey and lemon at the mo, got a bad cold but it works so well and tastes so nice, they do it all home made!), and they've got good music (Norah Jones)! Tha cafe culture is so big (and the drinks work out between £1-1.50 so i can afford it!) its really nice! Miss you all!
