Got to Waitomo Caves late on Monday night and went for a hot chocolate! Mmm! Then had an early night ready for caving in the morning! We did the lost world epic which included a 100m absail which was brilliant! I leaned back over the edge and everything! Followed by a 6 hour climb/swim/crawl out! It was so exhausting, especially as the water level was so high (not far off them calling it off! only bout 10cm!) and the current was really strong, we were going up stream so it was a bit of a struggle but we made it! There were a few points where we had to jump in from 2-5m! That was fun! One was called the jaws of death! They cooked us a bbq when we got back to base which was really good! I seemed to live in wetsuits most of the week so getting good at getting them off! Harder and funnier that you might think! That night we drove accross to Taupo and had a reastless night thinking about the skydive!
