Today started with a sunshine walk to the hospital.... Now about 7.30am it's around 17/18degrees.... We think that this is warm yeah.... Well you try telling that to the local doctors who are complaining about ot being so cold, wearing jumpers and wrapping up in blankets...! Have you heard of such a thing?! Interesting set of morning cases then a free lunch.... Yes I can smell a freebie a mile off!! A bit of a "discussion" with the undergrad staff about my going with flying doctors.... Pretty sure they aren't very happy with that... Which then moved onto us finishing tomorrow... Again not so happy! But I am signed off and have seen an awful lot in my time here, mixed up a combination of morning, afternoon and evening shifts with a bit of flying doctors and some sports med on Friday evening...! So they can't say a huge amount though by sheer nature of their job role they will... That will be a fun afternoon discussion tomorrow... Oh well! Post lunch and teaching, which was short but sweet... And a little on miaw miaw... Which none of the doctors here have heard about.... There isn't the drug culture problem here that we have at home... No one really comes in with drug problems like they do in the uk... It's all alcohol and pot induced psychosis, a person with a heroin addition or injects speed is a freak and rare occurrence...!
A little sunbathing in the afternoon (god how I am happy the sun has returned and decided to put its hat back on!!) where we randomly bumped into rachel debono!!! Then it was off to see Toby again and book more tours for our final days here.... So we are off to the northern beaches saturday...frankland islands on Sunday and uncle Brian's waterfalls trip on Monday!! Packing Tuesday :( to leave at 7am wednesday!!! The travelling begins again!!
Went to a pub quiz with the interns this evening and came 2nd.... It's not a real pub quiz though.... It's one like they had in new Zealand too.... Just generic and on a DVD drive.... Not quite like the Canadian or the Heath pub quiz...! Not got quite the same appeal really.... But the chips were good and the company was nice.... Not to mention the "pure blonde" lager which is my ultimate favourite... Low in carbs, so essentially really healthy too!! Need to find this back in the uk!!!

PS I know lots of you are enjoying reading this and finding it quite entertaining....god only knows why! But once I have finished this trip I will be printing this out in hard copy...
