Well since reflecting, Kat and I realised that there has been lots that we had forgotten about the trip and felt we were doing LA an injustice by not filling in the stories....in bullet form! - visited the Los Angeles marina - cycled along the pacific highway which is the longest - saw the very end of route 66 - pretended to be Forrest Gump on Santa Monica pier - didn't see any celebs... :( - met lots of la wannabes... That work in restaurants or as street ...

So it was yet another early morning this morning, not quite 4am but still pretty early... But it was perfect timing to spend an hour listening to joes presentation, critiquing it and generally praising it and being in awe! It was so good! A lot of hard work accumulating into a fantastic design and viva....! So proud of him... Then a quick breakfast before packing up the room and putting cases into storage.... Which was the worst, most dysfunction, least reliable...

Early morning start.... With a lovely log chat to Tom Tom.... Fortunately since it was 4.30am here the signal was ok and didn't keep dropping out as it did with mammy this evening..... So today was pretty chilled.... Got up and saw the sunrise over LA which was amazing then walked along the pier to see a family of dolphins jumping through the water...... It was so peaceful before 7am..... No crazy people! We then rented "my girl bikes" with no breaks..... Which f...

So the day started pretty early..... Mainly as I couldn't sleep, combination of jet lag and heat in the room..... So warm!!!! But finally it came time for breakfast.... Included in the hostel booking...score! Then it was off to explore the coastline! First a walk to the pier then south to venice beach and the famous muscle beach! We messed around on some of the equipment took pictures pretending to be body builders and subsequently got told off by the park guy!!!...

So we arrived safely in LAX much to our disappointment couldn't find the sign... Definitely to look out for on the way out of LA! Got a $1 (yes you hear me correctly) bus to Santa Monica where we got sent off at broadway and 3rd.... Not a moment too soon.... People who ride busses are a bit bizzare....Now stuck in the middle of Santa Monica with 2 cases (mine of which has decided to give up the pull along function, so now is a rucksack case as Kat kindly discover...
