An early start.... But by god it's sunny! So excited! Very few clouds in the sky, no wind! Perfect conditions for reef day!!! Yay!!!

Also an ironman competition in cairns and port Douglas.... A 3.8km swim 180km cycle and a 40km run..... God these people are fit! Some people we know from the hospital were running it so we watched a little before the boat, but didn't see anyone we knew...
A 90minute trip to the outer reef and no surprised for guessing that I was again sea sick..... Uch a fi! So horrible!!! But when we got there it was so worth it!! We snorkelled all day at 2 different sites, the horseshoe and the lagoon and dived at the horseshoe...It was amazing.... But not quite as many fish as I had expected... And now I have got the diving bug back again!!!!

Returned to cairns and had a spot of sunbathing at the lagoon before watching some more of the iron man... And we saw laura... The doctor from the hospital... Perfect timing!!!! Then a pizza and a Beer watching the final leg! Before going to the finish line to cheer everyone home!!! What a huge achievement! I am constantly in awe of them and what they have acoumplished!

A quick stroll around the night markets and all gifts bought... You lucky people!
