I must be nearly time to come home - I spent five hours in a cafe using the internet to send emails to my contacts in an attempt to drum up some work for when I get home. I popped back this morning to reply to a few responses. This time I had Julia with me and I enjoyed an English breakfast (not like the one's back home though) and Julia had smoked salmon with poached egg . We headed back to the beach around 11am and spent the rest of the day lounging. We did a good half hour swim up and down part of the bay which burnt a few calories. I sat in the shade most of the day as I was feeling a little sun kissed from the previous two days. We had got into the habit of ordering corn-on-the-cob from the beach seller for lunch - it tasted great with fresh sea salt sprinkled all over. I imagined doing them back home, but the chances are they wouldn't taste as good. I have entered into a classic holiday thought pattern whilst I lay on the beach... this time next week I'll be home... (and eventually when I am home)... this time last week I was led on the beach thinking... this time next week I'll be home! I had really enjoyed my Red Snapper the night before, so much so that I persuaded Julia to visit the same restaurant with me again so I could try another BBQ fish. I had thought we should make the most of the fresh and cheap sea food whilst out here. Most of my dining experiences involving fish back home have been disappointingly expensive and not as tasty. I decided to opt for the Barracuda and two bottles of Tiger beer. The Barracuda had a thicker texture than the Red Snapper, a bit like a Tuna steak (I preferred the Red Snapper).
