Nothing much to report today. Blue skies, blazing sunshine and clear waters to cool down in. I was really enjoying relaxing on the beach. It felt good to switch off and just lie on the sand and occasionally dip into my SAS survival book. We enjoyed a light lunch of corn-on-the-cob which we bought from a beach seller. He had a small cooking tray with charcoal in where he grilled the corn. It tasted lovely, especially with sea salt sprinkled all over it. Andy and Jodie joined us briefly in the day to do a spot of sunbathing. They seemed friendly enough and we agreed to meet for dinner that evening in a restaurant called Fizz. The food was delicious and went down rather well with 3 small bottles of Chang lager. We didn't stay out too late - amazingly we were too tired from doing nothing all day. Although we did swim quite a bit in the day. Ju dozed off in her mosquito cocoon around 9pm and I played a card game called Free Cell in mine. It was 11pm before I decided to fall asleep. Unfortunately I was to wake around 1am with itchy feet from all the mosquito and sand fly bites - that was the undoing of me. I couldn't fall back to sleep and lay awake until 5am in the morning. I wasn't going to be fit for our snorkelling trip tomorrow at this rate... typical!
