Jim and Sim's World Adventure
Its absolutely huge...We are talking about Vegas....
Got here yesterday after driving through some more of Death Valley - which was just as hot as the previous day. We stopped at Furnace Creek and had a look around the visitors centre and then headed to Vegas. Forgot to mention yesterday we also saw some sand dunes in the middle of the valley.
Back to Vegas - We spent some time walking up and down the strip last night. Its like a giants playground and is all big and sparkly. There is an Eiffle tower, the New York Skyline, a Treasure Island with Pirate ships and a Ventian Canal with real Gondolas on it. We watched the fountains at the Bellagio and the volcano erupting at the mirage. We also did a little bit of gambling on the slot machines before heading back to the hotel room - which is also massive.
12th June - spent some more time on the strip today and experience a Las Vegas buffet for Dinner which was really nice and loads to choose from - we had 5 deserts between us - just because we could... We walked to the other end of the strip and saw the Luxor - which is an Egyptian pyramid. Did some more gambling and we won $15 - and cashed it up just in case we lost it all (its a lot of money when you are on a budget) - last of the big spenders.
Vegas is great - we would defintely like to come back here one day.
