We went to the top of the John Hancock Centre (Big John) last night for posh cocktails, to watch the sunset and the lights come on in the city. It was really memorable. Today we went on a river cruise which was brilliant, it took us around the city and onto Lake Michigan which is 180 miles wide (how big!!!). We are now in Chicago. Just a quick journal entry as we move onto Seattle on Friday. Arrived here yesterday and went for a walk around the city. We also went on a ferris wheel on the pier and looked at the skyline from the lake side. Today we have been to the top of the Sears Tower and looked at the skyline, and tonight we are going to go and have cocktails at the top of the John Hancock tower and watch the sun set before having some food.
