We have booked our flight to Cuba! Yay! We leave tommorrow for 3 weeks! A friend we made here went there today and we're meeting her out there. She actually lived 10 mins walk from where I was living in Hackney, how weird - such a small world! We're all a bit weary of what to expect of Cuba, everyone we've spoke to who's travelled there is really secretive about it. They just say its amazing but weird and cant describe it. Hmmm... cant wait to find out what the big secret is. We are still on the Isla de Mujares, the other girls left a couple of days ago and since then we've been sharing with some Israelian guys who are total pot-heads but v.funny, an English guy who's behaving like a right ladies-man although we're pretty sure he's gay, and 3 other guys moved in today so we're a bit of a minority in our dorm. Shame none of them are hot. Havent done v.much last couple of days, its been extremley hot and humid. We did actually go for a bit of a jog the other day (yes me jogging!) as we were feeling a bit fat, didnt get v.far but at least we tried! Anyways, v.excited about Cuba now - we've timed it so that we're there for the carnival and my 25th birthday!
