After a long 4 hours coach trip through the beautiful, green mountains of Honduras we arrived in the little mountain village of Copan Ruinas. Its an old and pretty village with cobbled streets. 15 minutes walk to, apparently, the most amazing Mayan site in the world! The people here are much friendlier than in San Pedro, it is so relaxed - we love it! We found a lovely hotel too - spotlessly clean rooms at the back of a lovely cafe with gorgeous food, its great, not sure if we will want to leave! This morning I had a very interesting breakfast; scrambled eggs, spicy bean paste thing, tortilla's, fried banana's, avocado, and goats cheese - and it was surpisingly yummy! mmmm.....
