Our plan was to split the day into three different parts today. We started it off with a nice breakfast at the hotel. After that, we took the Metro to the Jewish quarter and visited 3 synagogues (at one of which we got a private tour by the synagogue's Gabai, which was absolutely lovely). Today, we went to walk in Carol park at -22 degrees wind-chill. It was surreal - all white, a bit slippery, VERY cold, yet absolutely stunning. We walked along the park until we reached the huge monument, where we got warm by the eternal fire. Upon landing in Bucharest, we immediately noticed the white color all over the place. The country was under a heavy snow storm earlier this week. We landed into -14 degrees (feels like -21 degrees) and headed to our hotel, using a sort of decent taxi (kinda rare in Bucharest).
