We had a great last day in Tokyo. We started it with a long walk in the old part of town, moved to a new part of town to see the Toyota showcase, and ended the day with a superb visit to the light festival. That's a great way to fare Tokyo well. Tomorrow, we're off to Osaka, to do some typhoon hunting. :-)

Breakfast filled us up so much, so we went back to rest after it and left for town only at 12:40. We went to the government building observatory, headed to the nearby park, which was closed as there was some flu-related problem with it, continued to a horribly small costumes museum, which was pathetic, and went to see Tokyo's biggest temple, Senso Ji, this time at dusk. After a short night sleep and a good breakfast, we took a train to Kamakura, a seashore town just an hour from Tokyo, with many shrines and temples to explore. We visited a unique bamboo shrine, a massive mountain temple and a giant Buddha. We then took a train to Yokohama, where we enjoyed a stroll by the coast, a nice cup of coffee and some lovely buildings. We returned to the lounge at the hotel just in time for dinner. :-)

After a good night sleep and an excellent breakfast we got some more rest and headed out to Tokyo sea life park, which was a great aquarium where we petted some stingrays and saw numerous fish, amphibians and birds. Totally great. We then went on to visit Ueno park and the art museum, which were both nice, as well. We finished our day out by visiting a shrine and heading back to the hotel for some massive feeding time and drinks at the lounge.

The direct flight from TLV to ICN was ok. Korean Air do know how to make you feel welcome, even in economy class. We've had 2 big meals, numerous drinks and a lot of smiles. After 9.5 hours, we landed in Seoul and had to wait for 2 hours to our connecting flight to Tokyo (also Korean Air). We were dead tired, although we managed to sleep for 2-3 hours during the redeye flight. The flight from ICN to NRT was ok as well, with a dinner and drinks. It was only 2.5 ho...
