This would be our first night stop after leaving Wellington on the northern island.
I chose a suite hotel as it seemed like the most decent place in town. Making the reservation by phone was a lot of fun. :)
Our final destination in New Zealand is Auckland and I've made several refundable reservations for this hotel, just to make sure the rooms are allocated and that an upgrade is granted. :)
