After 25000 km, 10 cities and endless adventures - we're back home after a 10.5 hour flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv. :)
The flight itself was delayed - we were supposed to fly 21 hours earlier, but El Al could not fill up the plane, so they cancelled the flight entirely. They ended up flying us 21 hours later, only to discover we have to taxi at the airport for almost an hour. Ouch!
Oh, btw, regardless to what you may think - despite the fact that Beijing is a huge city and has a HUGE airport - after 20:00 - it's DEAD. All the duty fre shops are closed and we ended up wandering in the terminals, looking for a place to grab a bite, exchange some RMB to US$ etc.
BUT, this little thing has no chance of tarnishing our amazing trip.
All we have to do now is start planning our next adventure next year - this time, hopefully in Australia. :)
