After a good night sleep and a nice breakfast, we went to tour the new part of New Delhi - mainly in the parliament and government buildings, which were huge and nicely built, the presidential palace and its beautiful gardens and then walked all the way to India gate, which is a huge and beautiful monument. 2 minutes after we got there, the guard evacuated everyone from the site. We have no idea why.
We then made a mistake and decided to navigate ourselves to a nearby train station and took couple of wrong turns thus ending up walking for 2 km in the wrong direction.
We then continued to visit the Lodi gardens, which were beautiful, but we were too tired by then and we took a tuk tuk to the train and headed to our hotel.
We had a lovely buffet dinner and then were moved to a nice suite, due to the fact we had several problems with our room.
Tomorrow, we're off to explore old New Delhi.
