Hello all,

Well, Yesterday, we spent the morning and afternoon falling in love with this city! Such a rich, cultural and warm place to visit. The weatrher has been absolutely perfect, sunny and 25 all 3 days in vienna. But we dont just mean the waether wasw warm, we have really embraced the warmth of the viennese volks.

First, the spectacular Schonbrunn palace... in stunning yellow against the Alpine backdrop. The gardens were so beautiful - fountains, roses, orangerie, a zoo (yup!) and amazing views overlooking the entire city!

then we walked through the nachtmarkt, eating little bits and bites...still dont really know what it all was...but all very guten!

The afternoon was a shoppers paradise! Mariahilfen strasse is officially the greatest street to shop on! total shoe purchases in less than an hour? 4.

we came, we shopped, we conquered!

today was cultural day... museums, galleries, a trip down the danube and wiener schnitzel!

i cant believe we are leaving vienna tomorrow for munich. we have really become accustom to this place, the culture, the people...even the difficult streetnames... gumpendorfer is currently our favourite, kettenbruckengasse was a tricky one... but we mastered it today!
