Copenhagen (Kobenhavn) was our last official destinaton before returning "home" to Amsterdam. ANother beautiful arrival in a new city. We passed turbine farms as far as the eye could see - Denmark is one of the world leaders in wind and alternative energy development - what a sight! We took a comparatively short tour of the main city sights - The famed Little Mermaid statue in the harbour (101 years young this year!), the Royal palace, the changing of the guards...

We woke up early with the sunrise to see the natural wonder of thousands of archipeligos dotting the baltic sea arriving into the Swedish strait and then into Stockholm. Hashtag. Speechless. Lush, green islands smattered across the sea, some big enough to hold marinas and stunning resort homes (we tried to pick out Mats' place!), some tiny, only big enough for a small wooden cabin and some birds to enjoy; all incredibly beautiful. ..head over heels in fact. After 2 days in Russia, we arrived in another beatiful city on the Baltic journey we are on. We arrived by passing through a few photo-worthy archipeligos, and it just got better once we hit the ground. We're at the end of our 2 day stay in St. Petersburg, Russia. After recieving strict instructions about how to get into the country, stay safe, then return... we followed these rules to the tee and had no problems! Our first tour was a 10 hour marathon city tour. We saw the main sites by bus and on foot. The STUNNING Spilled Blood cathedral, St Peter and Paul fortress and cathedral, St Isaacs (the 4th largest cupula in the world), Catherine the Great's AMAZING...

After another at sea day, we shouted "land ho!" as we saw Tallinn, Estonia in the distance this morning. What a beautiful sight! The olde town is walled (built in the 1200s..) and on a hill over looking the rest of the city. This place is a true gem of the Baltic coast. The history! We stepped back inoto the Medieval times, walking the original cobblestones, snapping a million pictures of the historic buildings that all seemed to be exactly as they were in Vikin...
