When we got off the night train we went straight to the hotel on a songthaew (an open aired pickup), had breakfast, shower and left for the hilltop temple at 9am. Is 1700meters above sea level and has amazing views. We got blessed by a monk and got given a holy bracelet- a bit of rope!!!! Had an afternoon nap before going to have a full body 1 hour massage, which felt gorgeous. Then we went to a dance festival where we ate dinner on the floor whilst listening to music and watching lots of different Thai dancing. On the way home we stopped at the night market- stalls on either side of the road- before coming back to the hotel to write this blog. Going to bed in a bit because tomorrow we are going white water rafting. Will write again soon. Have a look at our pics, love aime and adam x x x x x x
