We came to Phuket in the rain and the whole time we were here it rained. The beach looked really nice but no-one was there because ofthe rain, so while we were here we mainly shopped, went bowling, or having a drink. It has the most number of bars I have ever seen in a small area, and a hundred times more Thai women looking for business- if you know what I mean! One night the whole of Patong Beach had a blackout and for over an hour we were drinking by candlelight watching the storm. It was really nice actually.
