We got to Ao Nang Grand Inn (and it wasn't very grand) but it was only 4 pound a night so we were happy. It was just a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The food here was great, one night we had pizza, another we had Thai and another night we splashed out and had a gorgeous Indian. We sunbathed most of the time on the bach because it was so sunny and the sea was lovely and warm. One day we went on a boat trip to the Phi Phi Islands, where we went snorkelling and swimming on a few islands and looking at coral and sunbathing. It was a rally good day but we got slightly sunburnt on our backs. The day after we rented canoes and went to a desserted island a few coves down and collected some coral from the beach and explored the caves. It took us longer to get back because of the wind and the current - in fact Adam did it most of the way back while I complained about us tipping over!!! We went out one night in Ao Nang and spent a fortune. You don't realise because the drinks are so cheap - about 1 pound a bottle. The bus from Ao Nang to Krabi picked us up on Sunday at 10.30am to take us to Phuket.
