I took the 24 hour bus from Guayoquil to Lima yestarday and today. Wow, what a long ride. I also didn't realize that the entire Peruvian coastline was desert. The whole thing. It is bone dry all the way from the Peru, Ecuador border to Santiago in Chile more or less. I have never seen anything quite like it. I am planning on doing a typical tourish loup in the south of Peru. I'll keep you posted as to where I am and what I am doing.
