Shaun on the Road
Well, as I write this, I am actually in Argentina, but I am going back to Brazil in about an hour, so I am still going to say the I am in Brazil.
I honestly did not enjoy Rio that much. If you like big cities that are hot and humid, with millions of people and huge beaches with even more people, this is the city for you. It is a party town, even more so now than before because Carnival starts in 2 weeks. Not my kind of place, but each to his own. When I finally left (the 6th of Feb) I had definatly had enough. I saw the sites, and met some great people, got my Swiss army knife stolen (lesson learned: never lend a swiss army knife to a swiss guy, you'll never get it back), and ate at Mcdonalds (my new goal is to eat at rotton ronnies in every nation that I visit).
Foz do Iguazu (spelled differently in spanish than portugese) is a great place that is bigger than niagra with fewer people. I am also staying at a great hostel were I can camp and get breakfast for about 3 dollars Canadian. Sweet deal.
Tomorrow I head to Sao Paulo and on the 10th I fly via London to Tel Aviv. I will update this site when I get there. Take care all and keep in touch.
