Aghhh! It's our last day in Australia. This morning we were all up early and Catherine left first to meet her travelling companions for the last time before they all flew out. Pete and I had booked on the Bonza Bike Tour. A guided bike tour of Sydney. It was brilliant, there were 12 people on the tour 4 from Canada, 2 Switzerland, 2 Germany, 2 UK, and 2 Australia. The guide was very good and informative, he also gave us plenty of breaks, which was good because once again the weather was perfect and quite warm 27 degrees.
We stopped halfway round at a pub with its own brewery and tasted the delights and ate pie. (Dark beer called Nelsons Blood) The tour finished about 2.30pm and that gave us the chance to have a look around a small craft market which was very good.
We met back at the hotel and then all went to the Sydney Tower for dinner in the revolving restaurant which was absolutely spectacular. The views were stunning also.
We had been told about a free firework display on Darling Harbour so went to have a look at that - a fantastic end to a fantastic holiday.
Bangkok tomorrow for 2 nights.
