Oh my goodness I don't know how we have done it, but we have had another cloudless day.
Today we walked to Circular Quay and caught a ferry to Manly Beach. We decided that as we have a bike ride tomorrow we should do a bit of training. We found a rental shop that was doing a good deal and rented a couple of bikes, initially for 2 hours, 4 hours later we returned them. Following a map we tried to follow a path around the coast - unfortunately no bikes were allowed it was a footpath only. We ended up going up some huge hills that Bradley Wiggins would have struggled with. Well we had to get off and push. We found a very nice Deli on our travels and bought a picnic which we ate on a beach. Then we had to return, and the hills were just as steep the other way. Had time for a paddle after returning the bikes before catching the ferry back to the city.

Got back to the hotel and Catherine was sat in the foyer looking very tanned. She has had an amazing time and within half a hour had disappeared again to meet up with all her travelling companions. I am sure we will hear some stories on the way home next week.
