Up early as it was a race against the clock to get the bikes back to the rental place in Chiang Mai as they shut at 6pm. Left around midday after some decent grub and then hit the road back! The weather was perfect didn't rain once so the whole way we completely floored it and made it in 4 hours. The highways we were getting up to 120 km/h on our scooters ha we were flying! So good seeing 13 of us all cruising together we had all become close throughout as well. Got to Chiang Mai, me and Bas went to the bus station to get bus tickets for me, Bas, Willem and Felix as we were heading to Bangkok tonight. Felix was off to Phuket in the morning and leaving the guys behind the others were heading to Laos in a couple of days time. Once got tickets we have to give the bikes back, went back to the hostel to get our stuff together and said our goodbyes to everyone. Been with Timon a lot over the last month so was an 'emosh' man hug to say the least ha! I hope we all meet up at some point this is the s*** part about travelling we all got on so well over the last few days and then parting ways is tough. Oktoberfest next year has been mentioned already so would be really cool to meet up! Good times. So me, Bas, Willem and Felix got the bus from Chiang Mai to Bangkok hitting up some Valium as per for the road! Sad to leave behind a awesome crew :(
