It was then off to Wanaka, another beautiful lakeside town, which we had a spectacular drive though the Crown Range to get to. Once there we decided to embark upon a game of Frisbee golf...whilst having a drink or 2 of course!!!....Shane managed to win the overall competition but in the all or nothing playoff Phil somehow pulled it back....so we shall call it a draw for the sake of peace in the campervan!!! The following morning we decided on a mental workout in Puzzling World before hitting the road. We checked out the mad illusions first, the best one playing on your sense of balance in the tilted house, where water flows upwards and balls roll up!!!...and that's before we mention our ability to walk!!! Then we tackled the mighty maze.....challenging ourselves by trying to complete the difficult route, rather than the basic one.....a head wrecking 45mins later we had it cracked!!!! (Which is a good thing as frustration was starting to creep in to accompany much laughing) According to them it should take between an hour and an hour and a half...so we are above average!!!!

After puzzling world we had the long but scenic drive over to the glaciers, by the time we got there it was campsite finding time, which in this instance was an old gold mining site! Unfortunately it was too dark to find any so we are no richer!!!
