After that Bob and Heather had kindly (or more likely crazily!!) offered to let us borrow their 4x4 Ute to head to Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. We had a great few days driving on the sand and seeing all the sights on the island. From there it was up to Brisbane to meet up with Ivy, Heather and her girls. We were very kindly put up by Ivy. They were kind enough to show us around the city a bit, including the crazy beach that they have made on the river banks in the middle of the city!!!
