Wednesday night was our last in Cairns, the hostel put on a BBQ night where we tried kangaroo and crocodile. We both thought the kangaroo meat was really nice just like steak but not so keen on the crocodile meat. The next morning we got the Greyhound coach to Airlie Beach it would take us 10 hours to get there which meant we wouldn't arrive until 7pm. It didn't go quite as smoothly as that though as about 2 hours into the journey our coach broke down. We were stuck in a little town called Cardwell for 3 1/2 hours, not the worst place to break down as it was right on the ocean and there was a little cafe we could eat at. We finally arrived on Thursday night at Airlie Beach and checked into our hostel. This one is luxury compared with the last one as we have an ensuite, fridge, tv, air con, free wifi and we are right on the beach. We are now heading off to the beach and tonight we are going to treat ourselves to a meal at Cactus Jacks (Mexican).
Thanks for all your messages we really enjoy reading them! X
(p.s shifty, a football game will be happening, hopefully Sydney F.c are in better form than Exiles, promotion slipping away?)
(p.p.s Craig, I did wear the stinger suit and I looked cool in it! Have a brilliant time cruising South America)
