From Lincoln City we traveled north along highway 101 through Pacific City, Cape Meares, Tillamook up to Cannon Beach. The Tillamook area has much more agriculture in addition to fishing, and they make some very good cheeses. Cannon Beach is only a 90 minute drive from Portland and so there are weekend homes and a much more tony and varied accommodation and restaurants. We stayed in an excellent Inn right on Cannon Beach. A beautiful sunset and the following full moon capped a very romantic evening.
