We arrived in Mt maunganui to visit Sheff n Chrissie (friends of Sarahs) from Rotorua. Mt Maunganui means 'Large Mountain' in Maori in case your interested. Its a cute little beach resort town with cafe bars n Boutiques. Lots of people go there to surf and the beaches are really beautiful.

Weve been chiiling out while weve been here watching films and enjoying home comforts. We spent a day at the beach, did some shopping and had a few nights out. We had a go at Potato bowling at an Irish bar and went into Tauranga for St Paddys day which was a really good drunken night!

The day after (to try n cure our hangovers) we climbed the mount - felt like a good achievement. That night we undid our hard work by having our first Kiwi Fish n Chips - mmm deliscious! The fish is better than at home (sorry guys) but our chips are way better!!
