Today was our last day in Chiang Mai. We checked out of our rooms at about 10am then went off to mill about for the day before getting the night train back to bangkok. We spent about 2 hours playing pool which was free if you bought a drink so we just bought 2 cokes and made them last! Dave is the pool king so kept on winning (thanks to Si for the practice!) except for when he potted the black haha! We got a taxi to the train about 4 pm (well a pick up truck) with our bags in the back, which we were slightly concerned as we were inside the cab and thought someone might nick off with them! The train was even better than the first one we got with wider seats and this time dave got the bottom bunk which he was pleased about. We shared our carriage with about 50 French tourists on some organised tour which was a bit strange - could have been in France if we didn't know better! We made some cheese sandwiches with crisps for tea which were dissapointing - so bland compared to thai food. People started to go to bed at about 7.30pm we were 'hardcore' (stu if you are reading!) and stayed up til gone 10pm playing cards until we were made to get the beds down and go to bed!!
