Howdie guys! well we have been in Cairns for 5 days now! We left Airlie Beach and travelled to a place called Townsville to catch a ferry to Magnetic Island. We arrived in Airlie Beach at about 9.30 am after a 12 hour night bus journey from Hervey Bay and then we had to find the port at which our boat was docking from to travel around the Whitsunday Islands. Hello again! Well what can i say?! The Fraser Island trip was certainly one of those once in a life time events that i will never forget! Fraser Island is about a 40 minute ferry ride from Hervey Bay where we stayed for the night before getting up at 6.00 am (aaggh!) to have our briefing for the trip!
