(S) This morning I watched (outside if our hotel window) the sunrise over Wembley stadium and the city of London, life is hard! (T) On the road again and it was up to Birkenhead ( near Liverpool) to see where my family hails from. (T) Today was our last morning with Marg & Doug, again such a shame we're in different countries. Not long after waking, Sarah was skyping with her folks when the sounds of little Alfie came through, keen to find out if we were still there. A morning filled with fun and games followed, a great way to finish out our time. After a scrumptious lunch it was then on the road to London for an after-hours guided tour of Buckingham Palace. (T) After being entertained at breakfast by Alfie ( Marg's grandson ) we headed off to see the surrounding area. Stonehenge, Bath and Lacock Abbey were on the hit list. (S) Stonehenge was very interesting, it's just amazing how they can get those huge rocks to stand upright and to then heave the other ones on top, it's just beyond me. What was also interesting was that they used sort of tounge and groove joins to make the crossover rocks stay on the other ones....

(T) Landing in the UK we had the opportunity to have a race through immigration. With the UK passport I moved swiftly through and had our bags ready and waiting when Sarah finally made her way down.
