After finishing off The Great Ocean Road, Bea and I took the freeway from Torquay and finally arrived in Melbourne. It was nice to come across the big bridge and see the cityscape of Melbourne to the left hand side. This morning I drove to the Otway Fly and got there so early it wasn't even open yet! It was just me going round so Bea waited for me in the cafe. I walked in and the trees were of an amazing size, I am sure there are bigger elsewhere but none I'd seen so far. I got to walk through the base (play with the plastic dinosaurs meant for kids lol) before going up into the treetop walk. The platform took you up to 33m high and a further tower which went up to 46m high....

We woke from the nice camp ground to press on with starting some more of The Great Ocean Road. The first stop was going to be London Bridge but we found another before then which was called The Grotto. The Grotto is a nice little detour. Some stairs take you down to the base of the cliff which has a little archway and a pool of water at the bottom. Today we went from the Grampians down to Port Fairy on the coast of Victoria. I am not sure why we went there but we did and we picked up a load more maps and information from the visitors centre. After discovering there wasn't much to see we went on our way towards Warrnambool, calling by the Tower hill reserve first. The Tower hill reserve is a small park between Port Fairy and Warrnambool.
