Hi, Sob sob our party is now down to 2! Nikki left yesterday and it was very sad, we had a good old group hug at the airport and left feeling thoroughly depressed! Though probably not as bad as Nik who had to face a 3 hour delay! It is very strange to be without her after 3 months living in each others pockets 24/7! We had a lovely last night and day for Nik. We had a lovely yummy meal at Darling Harbour on Saturday night and visited the Aquarium yesterday. We saw sharks and other scary things that made me slightly fearful of the scuba diving we will be doing up the coast!! We were feeling a bit sad last night so didn't do anything but we cheered ourselves up by taking a trip to Summer Bay today (location of Home and Away for those not in the know!). Unfortunately for us we just hopped on a bus thinking it was fairly near and it took us almost 2 hours to get there! But the sun was shinning and the beach was stunning so it was almost worth the torturous bus journey! It also looked exactly like it does on tv so it didn't dissapoint! We are leaving tomorrow for our trip up to Cairns. We have 1 month to get there so we are looking forward to lots of beaches and relaxation - because obviously its a hard life being a traveller! We have already booked our Fraser Island tour and Whitsundays sailing trip so we are getting quite excited. Sydney has been absolutely wicked and we have really enjoyed it but now after our sad loss of our travelling buddy we are looking forward to moving on. xx
