We landed in Vancouver after a 6 hour flight from Toronto and gained 3 hours back which was even more confusing we were only just adjusting to the time difference for it to change again! We collected our luggage and got the train into Vancouver centre. Our hotel was in downtown the Granville street area of town which was a bit rough but we booked it as it was cheap and cheerful and near the bar area ha! We dropped
our bags and headed off to the stadium BC place for Vancouver whitecaps Vs LA Galaxy soccer we had bought tickets in advance we wanted to experience MLS whilst we were in Canada! The crowd were lively they even had song sheets for you to join in, they had local brewed beers which you could drink whilst watching the game which was great, it was a bit of a let down with no goals and the standard wasn’t the best but it was well worth the experience...
