Well my birthday, as hoped for, was amazing. Definitely will not be forgetting that one in a hurry. Was so nice having good weather for a birthday. Tubing got the better of Charlotte though and we ended up putting her to bed early. But Cat and I had dinner and ended up in a club. Haven't been in a real club for sooo long.

Wifi has been a bit of a night mare to get hold of, but did mange to speak to my parents on my birthday which was lovely.

Yesterday was a nice relaxing day. Went to a bar called smile beach, set in the most stunning of places, and they had bamboo beds right on the river. Sunbathed there all afternoon and waited for the sunset and the hot air balloons to start filling the sky. Very very beautiful view. Then we went to dinner at a place that just plays friends all day on their TVs. Absolutely genius.

Well I was meant to be getting the 9am minibus to Luang Prabang this morning, but turns out they didn't actually book me on it. Never mind, on the 14:30 one now. Let's hope I'm on this one.
