For my last morning in Paris I headed off to the Orangeire Museum to see Monets Water Lillies. I decided to get an audio guide to learn a bit more about them, and also to learn about the other artists that were displayed downstairs. The water lilies are one of my favorite paintings, and it was relaxing just to sit and admire them! The rooms were designed especially to showcase the paintings, and they make an infinity symbol!!
Downstairs there were paintings by Renoir, Picasso, Rousseau, and several others.
Luckily I had arrived early enough and there was no line to get in when I arrived- it was starting to get long when I left thoug, but after the craziness of the Lourve it was nice for it to be not so crowded.
Now I'm waiting at the train station for my Eurostar to London! Unfortunately there's not much seating in the waiting area, and I keep being approached by people who want me to donate money!
Time to play a new game Elaine and I made up: Spot The Baguette! Haha
