DIJON- the mustard capital of the world!! but actually the area (Burgundy) is more famous for it's Piñon Nior wine! Our first day here we stayed with our Airbnb hosts who were super nice and helpful and gave us some tips of some sights to see. Then we went out and explored the town, walking through the old cobblestone streets. Dijon is such a mix of old and new- the holdings and streets are so old, but inside there are modern shops like H&M. We had lunch in the square and tried some escargot! They were covered in a pesto butter sauce, which made them pretty good, but not something that I'd want to order all the time! More just for the novelty of it!
After doing all the rest of our bookings we treated ourself to a nice glass of wine and a chocolate souffle , which was delicious!!
