We are only here for 2 nights as we are now on a tight schedule. Our hostel was a little bit away from the main town and so when we asked where the closest supermarket was we were told that it was 20mins away...an hour an a bit later we came across it after doing what felt like half a marathon!

As we know all take it in turns to cook, tonight was dans turn. Sarah and I were a bit nervous at 1st but he surprised us and cooked very good steaks that we had been long waiting for.

The next day we heard that there was a festival going on on the beach so we headed down there that evening with Fran that we had met along the way. We didn't expect it to be like v-festival but with only a 150 people their we made the most of it by doing what the english do best and made our way to the bar. The drinking rules in oz are very strict with the festival finishing at 10 and if the security see you having too much fun they will come and take your drink away from you! Relax a little!
We had to call it a night there as somebody stole Sarah's $2 Cambodian sandles from the sand, so we couldn't get into any other clubs barefooted so we took the party to mcdonalds.
Next stop Brisbane!
