We have hired our 1st camper between the 3 of us to travel further north to Cape tribulation which is where two world heritage sites meet eachother, the Daintree rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef which is amazing to see.
You would be surprised on how spacious the camper was, you have your fridge and stove at the back and a double bed in once all the chairs fold down and Chris got the short straw and got the tent on the roof. At night it was so hot and hard to sleep, I wanted to have the door open but Sarah didn't want any animals joining us for the night.
The Drive itself was amazing, driving along windy coastal roads and then through parts of the rainforest, it is definitely better than driving the streets of London! We stopped and saw lots of nice scenery along the way aswell!
Chris and I went and swam in a fresh water swimming hole, we found a rope swing which kept us occupied for half an hour acting like little kids again.
We then went to Hartleys crocodile farm where we took a boat around the lake whilst they fed the crocs by making them jump out of the water! You don't realise the power of these animals and I think they are my favourite in Australia!!
Next stop Melbourne for our 1st AFL game!
