Sept 1 - day 1 of 3 days at sea

Crossed the Arctic Circle at 12:15am this morning. The Captain came over the loudspeaker to announce it, and to also announce that you could see the Aurora Borealis on both sides of the ship. We could see them from our balcony on the starboard side. Donna was able to capture some pictures.

My masseuse also took some good pictures. The ship had "King Neptune" party for all of us on the ship who were crossing for the first time. They used senior crew members to represent the whole of folks who crossed the Arctic Circle for the first time. The ceremony included kissing a fish, ice cubes down the shirts, and raw eggs over their heads.

I had a wonderful 75-minute massage with Noemi from Spain.

I am still sick, so haven't been doing much.
