We decided to visit Pilsen, home of the pilsner beer style. We managed to get a good cheap deal on an executive double room in a hotel which was great, breakfast included and checkout wasn't until 12!  Also realized that it was our six month wedding anniversary, and amazingly, Ma and Pa Bartels' 30 year anniversary (congratulations Mum and Dad!). We visited the Pilsen beer museum which was excellent and Brenda enjoyed it too. Afterwards we got to try the young Urquell pilsner which was really good! We didn't have enough time to visit the brewery as we had to get the train to Munich. Our walk to the train station took us past though, so Sam quickly ran in and snapped a few photos. Then onwards to catch the train to Munich, the home of Oktoberfest!
