Next stop on the summer tour was Chamonix. The 2 glaciers campsite is a great find just 3km outside of chamonix but with great views of Mont Blanc and of course the 2 glaciers. Great pitches, reasonably priced and a small stream running down the side so you can chill any fridge items in without it chasing away down stream.

A trip up the Midi is a must even though it swings just a little when it goes over the arms and causes people to vomit there in the gondola. The views are stunning. The walk down is very well sign posted and isn't that stressful so would reccommend a one way ticket.

The glacier with the grotto would have been a good idea but far too many tourists and quite annoying people to be honest with you but for sure in quieter season I would travel down to it.
