Well this could be a long entry since we had an overnight here and i fitted quite alot in.
Spent this morning on tour of the city and La Boca. La Boca is the old port where imiigrants landed mainly Italians and is the colourful part of the town. There are market stalls selling paintings of this place and couples tango dancing in the street. Also get alot of tack from this gaff as my parents will see as have bought them some.
We headed to Ricoleta where the cemetery is with Eva Peron's (Evita) tomb is for a very quick stop. Everyone is in tombs here and the coffins are not in the groud but just on shelves in here, very strange place really. The next part was a drive around the city where various countries have donated monuments for the centenery, we gave them a clock tower, the russians a church and japanese a garden plus many more. We also passed Boca Juniors stadium which is the best football team here, there are only 17 and all have english names as we bought football to them.
Anyway nn finshed at 11pm and Frankie covered my ipm as she didnt want to get off. We all headed out to some random bar called club amerika which we found to be a bar for very gay men but it was very funny as Mark got hot on stacks and noone bothered us in the slightest. It was also happy hour 2 beers for 1 dollar till 2am. We lasted there until nearly 5 but i had to start work at 9 so thought i should get some sleep. The stories will follow in more detail soon.
Went to hard rock cafe for lunch on the second day which was well cheap and really cool. I have saved some photos somewhere but dont know where they have gone hopefully they will turn up on here soon. Anyway Buenos Aires rocked and had a wicked time.
