Okay so what did we do in Ph Phi? Well we had all good intentions but then the sunbathing kicked in and the buckets of Whiskey so not a lot really just drinking partying and sunbathing!! Well when we arrived we were totally amazed by the little island! It was great and just what we were looking for. We went straight to the tourist place and asked for a taxi where they looked at us in amazement and said 'no taxis here' uh oh walking with back pack not good! But then realised the place was tiny everything was packed in shops, restaurants, bars and tiny shacks for hotels. It was something out of a film set-- oh yeah thats right it was where the beach was filmed. Me and Vic managed to find our home for the next 3 nights and then headed straight for the beach for some well needed sunbathing!It was glorious everything you wished for. Met up with Phil and Phil again who were staying in our hotel and we ended up going out that evening! Me and Vic got extremely drunk drinking buckets of whiskey coke and redbull while the non drinkers looked on in amazement!! Phil and Phil were great though and we got them up to dance all night long. Me and Vicky tried to join in a fire show and generally bust some moves on the dance floor! I ended up aving a dance off with some guy who ended up on his arse. So kick out time came and everyone was heading for Hippy bar (this is where the parties carried on on the island) owevera very drunk me saw the sea on the way to Hippys and thought it would be a great idea to jump in fully clothed (well actually I think I was going for a paddle but fell in ) the others joined in and then we all ended up taking a wet walk back to our diggs (phi phi dream). headache next morning so the walk to the other apparently more beautiful beach wasnt on the cards. Same beach did the trick and sunbathing happened once again. Met up that evening with Vickys friend Martin from hom and his friend Nicky! Phil and Phil came too for dinner and then we all headed to Tiger bar for more Buckets!!! After loosing terribly to a drinking game called 'gooday bruce' I spent most of the night on the floor (you will see from the pics)!! That night met so many people (apparently) the next day everyone was saying hi to me and couldnt think for the life of me who they were. Ended up falling asleep on a pancake stall and then outside my room! Left my bag with everything in it outside the room too! Ooopsy! Friendly place though and everything was still there in the moring as I awoke still wearing all my clothes and feeling really bad!! Once again couldnt make it on any day trips or to any other beaches so the same one did the trick but under the shade this time! Had some freakish sun burn by then anyway!! Met up for a quiet night of pool that night with Martin and Nick (worst pool player ever-he he) phil and phil had gone to Krabi by then. Had an early night and unfortunately the next day had to leave for Krabi (ao nang). Great nights met some great people and although me and Vic didnt get to see exactly the scene for ' The Beach' we imagined it very well based on the one beach we did see! Also heard some very tragic stories from the locals about the Tsunami.
