Hey, yesterday we visted Port Douglas, the town is surrounded by a four mile beach which we were looking forward to chilling out and sunbathing on, unfortunately the weather disagreed and it poured down. we still got a couple of nice pictures but it was quite a disappointment. We spent most of the morning going from shop to shop, having the locals running round trying to sell us stuff, as we said tho we are on a budget but we still tried a few things on. This area (Cairns and Port Douglas) is saturated with souviner shops so most of the places were selling the same stuff and at a very high price.

In the Afternoon we took a trip to the local Crocadile park which was pretty cool. I never realised how powerful these animals are. The Crocadile attack show was quite scary one guy stands in a murky pool with a 5 foot crocadile and basicly irratates him untill he starts to bite (you get the idea). We then had a boat trip into a lagoon with 15 Crocs at feeding time (we have a video which we will try to upload). Before we went the guide explained that Crocs can jump higher then the boat and this boat had no roof so that was pretty scary!
